Lesley Tompson (Physiotherapist)

Lesley graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 1995, and has undergone further study with the McKenzie Institute while working in the USA.

With over 20 years of manual experience both within Australia and the United States, Lesley is confident providing all aspects of physiotherapy care.

Her particular strengths are found in orthopaedics due to her strong manual skills, which she utilises in conjuction with stabilising/strengthening programs and hydrotherapy where appropriate.

Lesley has experience in many other areas of physiotherapy, including inpatient rehab, spinal cord and amputee rehab, aged care and home care.

Lesley is a keen sportswoman, actively playing field hockey for the North East Hockey Club, and running professionally with the South Australian Athletic League. She also maintains a continued interest in amateur athletics, having previously travelled as the physio/masseuse for the Athletics SA national team.

Adrian Barei (Physiotherapist)

Adrian started his career in physiotherapy in 1995 working at the Modbury Hospital on a rotating roster. He then moved into private practice in 1996 and has worked across a number of private clinics since then.

In 2003 Adrian had his first taste of clinic ownership, and has run various physiotherapy clinics up until 2015 when he sold his business. Now he is delighted to have joined the team at Back On Track Physiotherapy and is greatly looking forward to this new challenge.

He has had many years of experience working as part of an occupational health clinic and treating workers with occupational injuries. He has conducted dozens of group workshops on Manual Task Safety Training, performed ergonomic and worksite assessments and still operates a worksite physiotherapy clinic at the Intercast and Forge foundry in Wingfield.

More recently Adrian has enjoyed looking after both junior and senior sports people with athletic injuries and is pursuing further study in sports physiotherapy.

Adrian was a state and national level Pole Vaulter, competing for Australia on four occasions from 1990 to 1995. His greatest sporting achievement was finishing in 14th place at the World University Games in Japan in 1995 with a performance of 5.20m.

He now prefers to spend his leisure time on his bike training for fitness and enjoyment in the Adelaide Hills. His other interests are golf, surfing, travelling, dining out, and getting involved in his children’s sports.

Nicholas Kluzek (Physiotherapist)

Since gaining qualification in 2006, Nicholas has developed expertise in sports rehabilitation. His passion for this originates from a personal history of playing football, tennis and basketball at State level. His skills have allowed him to work with professional and semi-professional athletes in South Australia and have given him the opportunity to travel overseas on a number of occasions and liaise with college football and soccer teams.

Additionally, Nicholas has extensive experience in work cover and return to work programs. He implements tailored exercise programs directed at functionality to achieve desired outcomes. While adept at utilizing manual therapies with patients, Nicholas believes that a balanced approach is best attained by empowering the individual to have control over their injury with exercise and education. The best result is achieved when the patient doesn’t have a reliance on the physiotherapist and is enabled to help themselves.

Meagan Colsey (Physiotherapist)

Meagan graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2012.

Since then, Meagan has undertaken further training in dry needling, Pilates and paediatric hydrotherapy.

She is a conscientious therapist who always takes a thoughtful approach to each client's needs.

She favours a holistic approach to treatment, helping clients to not only manage their symptoms, but to address the underlying cause of their conditions.

Meagan has well developed case management skills and looks at each client as whole person, rather than a collection of symptoms and impairments. She understands everybody's needs and lifestyles are different, and is therefore able to differentiate specialised treatment programs to best reach the desired outcome.

Meagan understands that one size does not fit all!
